My favourite Asparagus recipes
We’ve had a few nice days here in Perth and I have been drawn out to the garden where it feels a wonderful 10 degrees warmer than my cold, cold office!! As my asparagus is shooting up everywhere (YAY!!) I thought I would share a few of my ideas for enjoying asparagus. |

” Compared to other veggies, asparagus is relatively rich in protein, high in potassium, vitamins K, C, A & folate and a great source of fibre, niacin and iron. “

Grilled asparagus

This is my favourite easy, lazy dinner (or any meal!). Just steam the asparagus, poach a few eggs and sprinkle parmesan, salt and pepper on top…. yum!!!

My easy “not so good looking” but yummy quick breaky.
Sauté a little chopped onion & asparagus in butter, add an egg or two with seasoning & fold together on low heat until eggs are just cooked
