I grew up in a small town in NSW. For as long as I can recall I have been interested in health and obsessed with weight, the latest fad diet was swiftly and desperately tried…one of my worst experiments was the “Egg and Spinach diet” (I still remember sitting at school eating it!). My weight tee totalled by stones and it was not until the birth of my twins that I seemed to be able to take a breath from weight obsession. However, being mum made me even more inspired to cook healthier and be more overall health conscious.
Well years have passed and the kids have grown up and here I am doing what I absolutely love! I had begun studying Nutritional Medicine at Endeavour College, when an overseas holiday got in the way of exams and so another path was taken towards Health Coaching.
My education & experience has equipped me with extensive knowledge in holistic nutrition and preventive health. I especially love helping women 20-30 with weight related problems, I also love running my bi-yearly Detox Programs.
It’s rare for anyone to get an hour to work on their nutrition and health goals with a trained professional. At Fiorente Health, I create a supportive environment where I will listen carefully and help you to navigate the world of contradictory nutrition advice to determine what changes are necessary for you.
Together we will explore concerns specific to you and your body and discover the tools you need to produce real and lasting results for a lifetime of balance. I will support you in achieving your goals, such as achieving optimal weight, reducing food cravings, increasing sleep, and maximising energy, from eating the right foods for your body to living an inspired, fulfilling life.
I practice a holistic approach to health and wellness, looking at how all areas of your life are connected, not just the food we eat, but healthy relationships, a fulfilling career, regular physical activity and a spiritual awareness which are all essential forms of nourishment and good health. For example: Does stress at your job or in your relationship cause you to overeat? Does lack of sleep or low energy prevent you from exercising?
No one diet works for everyone. Each person has unique food and lifestyle needs and one person’s food can be another’s poison. My approach is not to dwell on calories or create lists of restrictions of good and bad foods, I feel that’s why fad diets tend to fail in the long run, Instead, I will guide you to find and develop a deeper understanding of the food and lifestyle choices that best support you. I will help you implement lasting changes that will improve your energy, balance and health and create a happy, healthy life in a way that is flexible, fun and rewarding.
